For the past 30 years, my professional career has provided the opportunity for me to work in everything from government to private enterprise to charitable organizations in the areas of marketing, sales, promotions, event planning and business development. Through all of these experiences, I have developed a keen appreciation for the value of leadership and involvement in the community, and the importance of networking and connecting with other highly motivated entrepreneurial spirits.

As the proud new owner of Womanition Alberta South, I am extremely excited about the opportunity to promote and further develop what our community can achieve for each of our current and future members. I am a passionate, energetic, fun loving, highly motivated individual who loves to connect with people to help and watch them succeed in their endeavors.

My focus as the new Owner will be to publish our own edition of Womanition Alberta South magazine, to continue hosting and expanding upon two very successful Biz Brigade Leadership Conferences, to grow the Womanition Networking Meetings to the Greater Calgary area, to inspire to host the First Annual SUPEARLATIVE Awards in the Fall and lastly, to develop a Mentorship Program to connect new entrepreneurs with highly successful and experienced mentors.

If you believe that joining our well established community would be of value to you, I would be honored for you to contact me to discuss these amazing opportunities to further your presence in the community.

In my life, connecting with Womanition has made the difference between just running a business and becoming a successful, confident business woman! I love the supportive, educational environment you offer to your ladies. You make each of us feel appreciated and valued and you always make yourself available with honest, fair feedback and consistent encouragement to keep moving forward. I know that everyone experiences less than stellar days, but even when you might be having one of those days, nothing seems to prevent you from welcoming each of your girls with a big hug and a warm smile. And because you foster this attitude within your Womaniton community, all your ladies can be extensions of yourself to all business ladies. Who wouldn’t want to be part of this?!? I am so glad that Greg introduced us and I look forward to calling myself a Womanition Woman for many years to come. Thank you, Dorothy, for your mentorship; you inspire me Oh and as far as improvements on your service, just create more groups! Your regular requests for feedback allows you to continually make little changes, testing and sampling what works for your members. I’m excited to be able to witness the growth of Womanition across Canada and then the world. I hope you realize that you’ll never be able to retire, right? -Carla Gate
